The Electric Building, located at the northeast corner of Broadway and Alder is an iconic historic building. The nine story building offers an ideal location, easy access to public transportation, downtown views and classic style. Placed on the national register of historic places, the “Electric Building” was the original home of Portland General Electric. At one time, the exterior of the building was lit up with over 1,100 light bulbs to remind downtown shoppers to buy electrical service for their homes. The building has recently been renovated with new elevators, fresh exterior paint, and common area upgrades.
